1822 ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA NEWSPAPER WITH POTTERY ADVERTISEMENTS, Alexandria Gazette and Daily Advertiser, March 20, 1822, single sheet, containing a notice by John Swann considering his November 27 disposal of his Stone Ware Manufactory to Messrs. Hugh Smith & Co.; an ad by John Swann for two journeymen stone ware potters; and an ad by Evans & Griggs "that they have taken that well known establishment of the late Lewis Plum, where they intend manufacturing of every description of Earthen-ware..." 20" x 13".
