1892 / 1893 CHICAGO WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION / WORLD'S FAIR KEROSENE LIGHTING NO. 1 SLIP CHIMNEY AND BURNER SETUP, colorless chimney with frosted to blue medial ground, transfer-decorated with a bust of Christopher Columbus and name, flanked by hand-painted flowers, ribbed rim; fitted on a period Plume & Atwood slip burner. Circa 1890. 8" HOA, 7 1/2" H, 2 1/2" D fitter.

Condition

Excellent condition, interior of chimney fitter with a minor flake/roughness and not affecting the profile, some minor wear to decoration; burner undamaged.
