AFTER CAREL ALLARD (DUTCH, 1678-1709) MAPS OF GREAT BRITAIN, LOT OF THREE, each uncolored engraving on laid paper, published by Johannes Covens (Dutch, 1697-1774) and Cornelis Mortier (Dutch, 1699-1783), comprising a map of Great Britain with Ireland titled "REGNORUM MAGNAE BRITANNIAE, sive ANGLIAE SCOTIAE, q. nec non HIBERNIAE Nuperrima Delineatio", a map of Scotland titled "Novisfima REGNI SCOTIAE Septentrionalis et Meridionalis TABULA, divifae in Ducatus, Comitatus, Vice-Comitatus, Provincias, Praefecturas, Dominiaet Infulas", and a map of England and Wales titled "REGNI ANGLIAE et WALLIAE PRINCIPATUS TABULA, divifa in LII Regiones, Anglice SHIRE dictas". Housed under glass in matching modern frames. Circa 1725. Map of Great Britain 25" x 22" object, 28" x 25" OA.

Condition

Very good visual condition with light toning, some minute spots of foxing or staining, each with one or a few tears and small holes, one or more edges possibly cut-down. Frames with minor wear and one or a few chips and losses to molding. Not examined out of frames.
