ALVIN STERLING SILVER AND GLASS POCKET FLASK, flattened form with sterling locking cap, neck, and integral filigree overlay to upper body with engraved "WEM" monogram to side, fitted into original cup. Marked "STERLING" on hinge, base with "STERLING", "1/2 PINT", and maker's marks. First quarter 20th century. 6 1/2" H, 3 3/4" W.
Provenance: From the John H. and Joan S. Byrd estate collection, Harrisonburg, VA.
Very good overall condition with minor wear and some scattered light dents to cap and cup.
