AMERICAN APPLIQUE, PIECED, AND EMBROIDERED QUILT, hand- and machine-stitched, probably being a kit quilt, having 12 pattern blocks of flowers with applied pink centers, embroidered detailing, and embroidered petals, pieced grid sashing and single border to all four sides in solid pink and white fabrics, quilting including grid, straight-line, diagonal, and floret motifs, scalloped edge with applied binding, three-paneled plain backing. 20th century. 77" x 93".

Excellent overall condition except for a few scattered stains and spotting, a few short separations to seams on sashing, much of the binding with tears and holes.
