AMERICAN BRILLIANT CUT GLASS AND STERLING SILVER LARGE VASE, colorless, having a waisted form with hobstar, chevron, and fan motif, topped with a "STERLING" silver mount with grapevine motif, signed for "GALT & BRO./STERLING - 906G-925-1000 FINE", monogrammed and dated to the reverse "Jan 13.1905", rayed to the underside. Maker unverified. Dated 1905. 13 7/8" H, 6 3/8" D rim.
Provenance: From the Gordon Joyce collection, Pittsburgh, PA.
Excellent condition with a couple isolated pattern flakes; some interior scratching and light residue; mount having a few minor dents.
