AMERICAN CHIP-CARVED TRAMP ART DRESSER BOX, the hinged lid with extended corners and "A Dell" carved to the raised center, concealing a velvet-lined interior featuring a cabinet photo of a soldier on horseback to the underside of the lid, the box with pyramidal sides, stamped "Factory No. 1380/1st Dist. N.Y./50" to underside of the base. Retains its original varnished surface with an outstanding dark patina. Late 19th/early 20th century. 3 1/2" HOA, 11" x 8 1/2" OA.

Condition

Very good overall condition, with a very minor loss at one end, and four replaced tiers to one corner and the top points to two other corners.
