AMERICAN CHIPPENDALE CARVED MAHOGANY SIDE CHAIR, with shaped crest rail with molded ears, featuring carved basket, above a pierced vasiform splat, trapezoidal seat frame, raised on square legs joined by a stretcher base, later upholstery. Retains an old surface with warm color. Late 18th/early 19th century. 39 3/4" HOA, 20" H seat, 15" D seat.
