AMERICAN EARTHENWARE / REDWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising two examples with polychrome hand-painted decorations including a beehive-form jug and a vase with rose motif, two single lead-glazed examples including an ovoid-form jar/vase and a double-handled vase, and a double lead-glazed jar with flaring rim. Second half 19th/early 20th century. 9 7/8" HOA.
Rose vase and double-lead glazed jar undamaged, having some expected age wear; double-handled example with minor rim chip; jug with moderate chip to mouth; jar/vase with scattered chips to rim, a moderate curved hairline extending from rim to shoulder, and a hole drilled to the bottom.
