AMERICAN EARTHENWARE / REDWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, lead-glazed, each having applied strap handle, comprising an approximately half-gallon capacity jug, ovoid form with collared mouth, and a chamber pot of squat wide-mouth form with slightly flaring flat-top rim, unglazed base. 19th century. 9" HOA, pot 5 5/8" H, 7 3/4" D rim.

Condition

Jug having a flake to foot edge, two minor flakes to mouth, a broken and glued handle repair, and some scattered glaze wear; chamber pot with minor chip to foot and handle reconstructed.
