AMERICAN / ENGLISH BLUE AND WHITE SPONGEWARE CERAMIC TABLE AND TEA ARTICLES, LOT OF 23,
comprising one open-handled cake plate, two bowls including one with lightly embossed scrolled rim design, six soup plates including one with embossed scrolled rim design, five mush cup saucers, and nine saucers. Printed marks to underside include one bowl with black-printed circular "Stangl / Trenton, NJ" and one saucer with brown-printed "STAFFORDSHIRE / ENGLAND".
Late 19th/first quarter 20th century.
2" HOA, soup plates 8 1/4" to 9 1/2" D.

Fourteen undamaged; remaining having some imperfections including cake plate with some restoration to rim.
