AMERICAN FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD, the diminutive six-leg form with exaggerated serpentine profile, featuring three short drawers above hinged cabinet doors, flanked by solid ends, the whole raised on square-tapered legs, inlaid decoration throughout, including elongated figured maple diamond-shaped reserves to stiles, stringing, and barber pole patterns. Poplar and pine secondary woods. Retains possibly original stamped-brass oval pulls and an early surface with rich color. Circa 1800. 42" H, 60 1/2" W, 20 1/4" D.
