AMERICAN FOLK ART CARVED AND PAINTED CANADA GOOSE DECOY, hollow-body form with canvas covering, inset head and neck, glass eyes, retains possibly original lead weights attached to underside of base, marked "WD" in period black paint, and numerous collection and inventory stickers, including one for the Heritage Plantation of Sandwich, MA. Retains an old painted surface. First half 20th century. 14 1/2" HOA, 15" LOA.

Very good overall condition, old break to neck, minor tear to canvas, surface likely refreshed, and with areas of expected minor weathering and wear.
