AMERICAN FOLK ART CARVED AND PAINTED PINE PATRIOTIC PLAQUE, each side featuring bas-relief bust portrait, one of Abraham Lincoln and the other of George Washington with 1732 date. Figures retain an old polychrome painted surface with likely original red-painted ground.
Circa 1920.
11 1/4" x 7" OA.
Provenance: From the collection of Bob and Dixie Moore, Deer Park, MD.
Discovered in western Maryland.
Very good overall condition with minor wear and discoloration. Very slight bow to panel.
