AMERICAN FOLK ART PICTORIAL HOOKED RUGS, LOT OF TWO,
each rectangular form, comprising one with red roses framed by acanthus leaves having applied binding to edges, and one with two flowers to center and four S-shaped leaves surrounded by a diamond border to all four sides.
First half 20th century.
Rose example 33 3/4" x 64 1/2"; other 36 1/4" x 59".
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, toning, fading/fugitive color, and stains; rose example with a few possible small losses, a few spots with pulled strips of fabric.
