AMERICAN FOLK / TRAMP ART CARVED SEWING BOX, with carved foliate devices, stars, and acorn designs, interior with period lithograph possibly from a cigar box. Retains original surface with warm color. Probably Ohio. Together with a folk / tramp art picture frame. Two pieces total. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 7 1/2" H.
Provenance: Property from a Youngstown, OH estate.
Condition
Very good overall condition, pieces detached and not present, scattered old breaks with associated losses, and with three later feet.
