AMERICAN GILT METAL GIRANDOLES, LOT OF TWO SETS, each fitted on a marble base, comprising a three-piece set depicting Evangeline/Paul and Virginia in a tropical setting, set includes two with single sockets and third article with scrolling branches and three sockets, prism rings with floral and double-dove ornamentation, single sockets fitted with colorless Snowflake prisms and remaining with colorless spear-tip prisms; and a two-piece set depicting an Elizabethan couple/Romeo and Juliet, each with single socket and colorless spear-tip prisms. Mid 19th century. 14 1/2 to 16 1/4" HOA.
Provenance: Property from a Youngstown, OH estate.

Condition

Very good overall condition, expected wear, Romeo and Juliet socket holders each with drilled holes, marble with expected flakes/roughness, prisms with expected imperfections including chips/flakes/roughness.
