AMERICAN HIDE-COVERED DOME-TOP TRUNKS, LOT OF TWO, animal-hide over wood, interiors both lined with paper, brass tack ornamentation to both including initials, wrought iron hasps, handles, and edge detailing present. Mid 19th century. Largest 14 3/4" HOA, 25" WOA, 17 1/4" DOA.

As-found condition, both with moderate wear to hide, and loss to ornamentation.
