AMERICAN HOMESPUN WOOL BLANKETS AND PANELS, LOT OF FIVE, comprising a 55 3/4" x 72" two-paneled cream colored blanket with blue thread stitching to top and bottom edge featuring "K" and "E" initials in the lower corners, a 32 1/2" x 80 1/2" cream colored panel, a 58 1/4" x 94" OA two-paneled pink, blue, and yellow thin-striped blanket, a 38 1/4" x 95" blue and cream plaid-patterned panel, and a 40" x 94 1/2" red and blue panel. 19th century. Various sizes.
Provenance: From the Ann and Clay Ring family collection, Winston-Salem, NC.

Condition

Poor to good overall condition with expected wear and other imperfections including holes, stains, toning, mends, and losses; thin striped blanket with sizable piece cut from one panel eliminating one corner; blue and red striped panel appears to been detached from another panel with remnants of seam thread along one side edge.
