AMERICAN INLAID CARPENTER'S TOOL CHEST, birdseye maple, walnut, poplar, and other woods, elaborate inlay to the interior including a five-pointed star in the center of the lid, two removable tray sections with drawers, all outlined with barber pole inlay and brass knobs, the entire object raised on casters. Retains a warm refinished surface. Late 19th/early 20th century. 17 1/2" HOA, 27" WOA, 18 1/2" DOA.
