AMERICAN KENTUCKY-STYLE PERCUSSION LONG RIFLE, approximately .37 caliber, figured walnut halfstock with checkered wrist and carved cheek rest, two-part patchbox, German silver inlayed leaping stag to check rest, rifled octagonal barrel, double set trigger, engraved lockplate and hammer, wooden ramrod. Mid 19th century. 49" LOA, 32 1/4" barrel.

Very good visual condition, stock with excellent color, old repaired break at wrist, patch to one side of forearm and repair to other, metals smooth with original color.
