AMERICAN OR BRITISH MAHOGANY INLAID BOXES, LOT OF TWO, comprising one with inlaid compass-style design and interior of lid with mirror, and one with inlaid heart designs. Each retains an old surface with warm color. 19th century. 3" and 4" H.
Provenance: From the private collection of Brian Penniston, Miller's Tavern, VA.
Very good overall condition, each with scattered minor surface abrasions, and with areas of expected minor wear.
