AMERICAN PAINTED PINE CARPENTER'S TOOL CHEST, the rectangular hinged lid with applied moldings, concealing an interior fitted with three removable dovetailed trays and a compartment for hand saws, the dovetailed case with an iron bail handle to each end and applied base moldings. Retains its original dry blue-painted surface. Second half 19th century. 18 1/2" H, 20 1/2" x 35 1/2".
