AMERICAN PAINTED POPLAR AND PINE BLANKET CHEST, hinged rectangular lid with applied moldings above case with lidded till, raised on turned feet. Retains likely original salmon-painted surface with free-hand decoration. 19th century. 17 3/4" H, 33 1/2" W, 15 3/4" D.
