AMERICAN PAINTED POPLAR BLANKET CHEST,
with hinged rectangular lid over nail-constructed case, raised on applied base with cut-outs. Retains an old blue-painted surface.
First half 19th century.

Good overall condition, old breaks with associated repairs to hinges, old breaks with associated losses and probable later pieces to applied base, and with scattered minor bug damage.
