AMERICAN PAINTED TILT-TOP TEA TABLE,
square cut-corner top with battens fixed to underside connected to a box having four baluster-turned supports with later key, above a baluster-turned standard raised on a tripodal base of cabriole legs ending in pad feet, retains early iron "spider" to base. Retains an old red-painted surface.
Early 19th century.
