AMERICAN ROCKINGHAM-GLAZED POTTERY ANIMAL MOTIF JUGS / PITCHERS, LOT OF SEVEN, each mottled brown with embossed images, comprising one E. & W. Bennett, Baltimore, MD attributed example featuring herons to each side, a boar head below spout, and a molded branch handle encircled by a snake, and six examples depicting hanging game including rabbits, birds, and deer including two examples with molded acorn thumb rest. E. & W. Bennett, Baltimore, MD; and others. Second half 19th century. 7 3/4" to 11 1/4" HOA.

Heron example undamaged; three hanging game examples with flake to spout; one hanging game example with minor chip to rim interior; two hanging game examples with some professional restoration including one with restoration to areas on spout and rim and one having restoration to area on foot.
