AMERICAN SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS, LOT OF TWO, one example, watercolor on paper, a highly detailed rendition of a country home surrounded by lush grounds, titled "Germaine Cottage" and signed "R. B. Osborne" in lower margin, and housed under glass in a 19th century gilt frame with molded-composition ornament; the other example, pencil on paper, a detailed view of the same country house, titled in a similar manner in lower margin and signed lower right "R. B. O. / 1840", housed under glass in a 19th century molded giltwood frame. Circa 1840. Watercolor example 8" x 11" sight, 14 3/4" x 17 3/4" OA.

Condition

Watercolor in very good visual condition with minor toning, frame with minor wear and losses. Pencil drawing in good overall condition with moderate toning and discoloration, frame with moderate wear. Neither examined out of frame.
