a snow-covered farm scene, possibly a New York State view, featuring figure gathering firewood with a team of oxen, saltbox-style house and mountains in the distance, no signature located, retains period printed artist supply merchant label for Annesley & Co. of Albany, NY attached verso. Housed in a 19th-century gilt frame.
Fourth quarter 19th century.
18" x 24" sight, 22 1/4" x 28 1/4" OA.
