AMERICAN SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) PAINTING OF BIRDS, oil on board, a sentimental scene depicting chicks and a mother in a bird's nest, no signature located, remnants of inscribed label verso. Housed in possibly original frame. Fourth quarter 19th century. 12" x 10" sight, 18 1/2" x 16 3/4" OA.
Provenance: From the estate of Sandra Stohrer, Williamsburg, VA.
Very good overall condition with minor abrasion at center and areas of discoloration. Frame with minor wear, probably re-painted.
