AMERICAN SCHOOL (20TH CENTURY) WOMAN READING PAINTING, oil on canvas, depicts a woman sitting in an Edwardian interior reading. Signed lower left possibly "J Carrier 1905". Retains old, likely original gilt frame. Dated 1905. 35 1/2" x 27 1/2" sight, 42 1/4" x 34 1/2" OA.
Condition
Very good condition having been cleaned and possibly relined; frame having minor restorations and possible newer gilt surface.
