AMERICAN SCHOOL HOLLOW-CUT DOUBLE SILHOUETTE, with fabric backing, bust-length depictions of a gentleman and a lady, each with watercolor / ink highlights. Housed under glass in an old frame. First half 19th century. 6 3/4" x 7 1/2" OA.
Very good overall visual condition, with minor toning and areas of discoloration. Not examined outside of frame.
