AMERICAN STONEWARE / REDWARE INKWELLS, LOT OF THREE, comprising two squat round examples with incised circumferential lines at top, one of which has two quill holes and a small mouth/lip, the other salt-glazed with three quill holes and no lip, and a manganese- and lead-glazed cylindrical redware/earthenware example. First half 19th century. 2 1/8" HOA, 3 1/2" D salt glazed example.
Good to very good condition, each with moderate chipping and redware example with a couple wide spots of glaze loss/exfoliation; salt-glazed inkwell with two very tight 2" perpendicular hairlines around the upper edge/shoulder region.
