AMERICAN TRAMP ART SEWING / TRINKET BOX, constructed from cigar boxes, advertising from these shows through in some places, rectangular form with hinged lid, pyramidal decorations on all sides and top, center of lid with a lithographed winter scene under glass, likely cut from a post card, front side reads "Cecelia" in script and back side reads "MADE IN DEC. 1918", dry surface with traces of original gold paint. Dated 1918. 3 3/4" HOA, 10 3/4" LOA, 6 2/4" DOA.
Condition
Very good overall condition with minimal loss, wear to original paint; some moderate wear to velvet interiors.
