AMERICAN WALNUT DOVETAILED CARPENTER'S TOOL CHEST, walnut with two-sizes of dovetailing on front corners to account for the ledge holding the interior tray, replaced hinges, brass escutcheon, handle added to front. Retains original dry surface. 19th century. 9 3/4" HOA, 22" LOA, 11" WOA.
Condition
Good overall condition with scattered wear to surface, loss to handle on lid, and loss to lock piece on lid; interior tray with loss to base.
