ANTIQUARIAN CIVIL WAR PUBLICATIONS, LOT OF 17, comprising (1) Guernsey/Alden, Harper's Pictorial History of the Civil War, Chicago: Star Publishing Co., 1866, 836pp, with copious illustrations of scenes and incidents, portraits, maps and plans, original publisher's cloth and leather binding; and (2) Lossing, A History of the Civil War, Illustrated with Reproductions of the Brady Photographs, complete Sections 1 - 16 as originally issued, 1912, original wraps.
Very good to fine condition, (1) with perfectly tight and clean interior, spine with short separation at top and bottom of front hinges, (2) section 1 loose with taped spine first pages, and small loss to wrap, remainder tight and clean.
