ANTIQUARIAN HAWTHORNE 15-VOLUME SET, The Works of Nathanael Hawthorne with Introductory Notes by George Parsons Lathrop, and Nathanael Hawthorne and His Wife A Biography by Julian Hawthorne, Illustrated with Etchings and Engravings on Steel, In Fifteen Volumes, Boston: Houghton, Mifflin & Co., 1882. Bound in half leather over marbled boards, with five raised bands and gilt-stamped titles and volume numbers on spine, with marbled endpapers and pages with gilt top edges.

Condition

Overall good to very good condition. Slight wear to most spines and a paint mark on spine of Volume 1, with wear to edges of some boards and some toning to page edges. Interior pages generally bright, including illustrations.
