ANTIQUARIAN WOMEN’S MEDICAL VOLUMES, LOT OF TWO, German language midwifery manuals dated 1802 and 1804, and titled Kurzgefaßtes Weiber-Büchlein: Welches Sehr Nützlichen Unterriche für Schwangere Weiber und Hebammen, discussing illnesses and remedies related to pregnancy. The last several pages contain a separate section on dyeing textiles. Both examples with decorative paper covers.
Condition
1802 example missing most of cover on spine, foxing throughout interiors. 1804 example with some losses to cover, staining on last several pages.
