ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE HATPINS, LOT OF 17, having assorted tops, including an English pair with guilloche enameled sterling tops by Lawrence Emanuel of Birmingham with 1911 date marks, two English examples with sterling silver tops and possibly sterling pins by Charles Horner of Chester each having 1909 date mark featuring one having an Art Nouveau design of a butterfly with enameled accents and the other with a twist design, a 0.930 silver top example with light blue guilloche enamel, one top having light purple glass with sterling silver overlay, one with a gold-toned spherical top having micromosaic elements, and one set with a coral-type cameo. Sterling pieces marked. Late 19th/first half 20th century. 8" to 12 1/8" LOA.

Condition

(Updated 2/20/23) Good to very good overall condition with wear and other imperfections including denting, bending, worn spots to finish, tarnishing, and flakes/chips; Horner butterfly example with a repair at base of top above connector and a sizable chip to enamel on one side.
