ANTIQUE FIREARMS / LONG GUNS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a half-stock flintlock rifle, approximately 60 cal. with pineapple finial to trigger guard, lock appears to be marked "DAYLER", 12-point star to top of barrel; and a percussion sporting rifle with folding trigger and screw-off barrel, approx. 56 cal. 19th century. 47 3/4" and 46 1/2" LOA.
Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.

Condition

As found condition, flintlock lacking ramrod and sleeve, percussion with brake and loss to stock.
