ANTIQUE FRENCH AND ENGLISH FASHION PLATES, LOT OF SIX, hand-tinted engravings on paper, comprising a group of four English fashion plates from La Belle Assemblee magazine laid on board, featuring various Regency lady's dresses, and a pairing of framed French fashion plates published by Esnauts et Rapilly with one by Etienne Claude Voysard after Claude Louis Desrais and other by Nicolas Dupin after Francois Louis Joseph Watteau. French prints housed under glass in matching modern frames. Late 18th/early 19th century. One framed plate 7 1/2" x 11" sight, 13 3/4" x 17 1/4" OA.

Condition

Good to very good visual condition with some toning, foxing, and stains, one or more possibly cut down; group of four laid down on board; frames with minor wear. French plates not examined out of frame.
