ANTIQUE / VINTAGE ART DECO BELAIS 18K WHITE GOLD, DIAMOND, AND SAPPHIRE LADY'S RING, ellipse-form top with pierced decoration, set with a center old European or transitional-cut diamond measuring approximately 2.5 mm in diameter, surrounded by eight single-cut diamonds measuring approximately 1.5 mm in diameter, and two rectangular-cut synthetic sapphires. Interior band marked "BALAIS 18K". Total weight including stones: 3.4 grams. Belais Mfg. Co., New York City, NY. Circa 1925. Approximate ring size 6 1/2.
Condition
Mostly in very good overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks, one sapphire with a loss to one end, band resized and cut through near center. Stones not professionally graded.
