ANTIQUE / VINTAGE ART DECO PLASTIC BELT OR DRESS BUCKLES, LOT OF 13, each two-part form made from plastic, many having rhinestones, including a poppy-type floriform buckle, a round buckle with peacocks, a pair in black and whitish colors, and a shell-designed black buckle. Unmarked. Circa 1920-1930. Peacock buckle 4 7/8" x 2 1/2" OA.
Most in very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including one to some spots/areas of oxidation/corrosion on metal components, one or more rhinestones possibly reglued/reattached, and/or slight bending to metal; poppy-type buckle with back button-type attachments removed and reattached to accommodate a narrower belt/sash; peacock buckle and black buckle of pair each lacking one rhinestone; shell-designed black buckle with one back bar replaced or reattached; small tapered-form buckle with one piece having clasp hook detached and reattached.
