ANTIQUE / VINTAGE ART NOUVEAU AND OTHER FIGURAL HATPINS, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising three Art Nouveau examples of one with a sterling-front top having a head of a woman with scrolling hair, one with a bronze-toned top featuring a bust of a woman wearing an ornate head-piece, and one with a bronze-toned top featuring semi-nude woman, a silver-toned hatpin with a bust of a girl, a bronze-toned hatpin of a bust of a Native American figure, a gold-toned hatpin with round top featuring an intaglio-type cabochon, a hatpin with round top having a plastic center of a Classical soldier bust, and a small glass cameo hatpin. Sterling front hatpin marked, remainder unmarked. Late 19th/first half 20th century. 5 7/8" to 12 1/4" LOA.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to metal finishes, slight to moderate bending to pins, and nicks; Native American hatpin with a small hole to side of chin; intaglio-type hairpin with either solder repair to base or being another piece of jewelry converted to a hatpin.
