ANTIQUE / VINTAGE BRITISH VIEWS STANHOPE ARTICLES, LOT OF 11, each with a stanhope, comprising a folding sewing/manicure tool with "A present from Belfast", a carved stone barrel-form charm/fob with Kynance Cove views, a miniature wood cauldron with Lynton and Lynmouth views, a carved wood charm/miniature with The Giant's Causeway views, a figural hand charm/fob with a view of Dawlish, a fruit pit fob with Alford views, a pair of binoculars charm/fob with view of Kenilworth and Stratford-on-Avon, a magnifying glass with carved bone handle featuring Berkhamsted stanhope, and three pieces with Blackpool views consisting of a silver-toned match safe with compass, a brass pendant/fob. and a carved bone letter opener/bookmark with figural handle finial. A few pieces marked "McKee / Dublin". Late 19th/first half 20th century. Magnifying glass 5 1/4" LOA.
Good to very good overall condition with minor to moderate wear and other imperfections including surface scratches, nicks, one or a few possibly flakes, slight bending, and/or worn spots to metal finishes; folding tool with one appendage having a loss to tip, fading to writing to side, stanhope with fading/obscuring; fruit pit with a crack along one side; a few other stanhopes with light fading and/or discoloration.
