ANTIQUE / VINTAGE ENAMELED METAL BELT OR DRESS BUCKLES, LOT OF 12, each two-part form having a gilt-brass / bronze-toned metal frame with enameled decoration, comprising nine with one or more turquoise-type rhinestones including a pair having scrolled design, one buckle with flower design having a four-leaf clover to center, and one large buckle presented on a black velvet belt/sash, and three without rhinestones. Unmarked. Late 19th/first half 20th century. One of matching pair 4 1/8" x 2 1/2" OA.
Fair to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including a few to several chip/losses and cracks/hairlines to enamel, worn spots/losses to gilt finishes, a few to some spots of oxidation, and/or slight bending notably to bars on backs; matching pair with one having repair to one bar on back and the other lacking bars; small example with center marquise rhinestone having a crack to stone; small example with center faceted round stone lacking hook to back.
