ASSORTED ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA MILK BOTTLES / ARTICLES, LOT OF 12, colorless glass, various dairies including pint and quart slug-plate embossed Sherwood Farm bottles, three George C. Gillingham / Meadow Brook Farm pints embossed "A BOTTLE OF MILK IS A BOTTLE OF HEALTH" around the mouths, and several styles of red ACL Alexandria Dairy Products Co. including a square cop top and pint/quart Store Bottles. Together with a celluloid advertising pen, and a box of loose/uncounted paper milk caps, mostly labeled for various Alexandria dairies. Fourteen pieces total. Mid 20th century. 

Condition

Very good condition overall, several bottles undamaged including Meadow Brook pints and both Sherwoods; a couple ACLs and the Gold Seal with moderate to heavy case wear or light flaking at lips or heels, or losses to ACL.
