ASSORTED ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA SODA / BEER BOTTLES, LOT OF SEVEN, some aqua and others colorless, mostly tall blob tops four of which have internally-grooved mouths for the Baltimore Loop closure, various embossings including Geo. McBurney & Sons Grocers, John T. Downey, J.H. Rice, and the Alexandria Branch of the Continental Brewing Co. Together with a Northwestern Bottling Works, Washington, DC blob. Eight pieces total. Late 19th/early 20th century. 9 1/2" HOA.

Condition

Good to excellent condition overall, a couple mostly undamaged including Continental Brew Co. and O'Sullivan & Greene, most others with moderate wear and moderate to heavy sickness; Rice with a large bruise at heel and McBurney having non-original closure.
