ASSORTED APOTHECARY / DRUG STORE JARS, LOT OF SIX, colorless glass, comprising four square-form examples with various patterned pressed glass stoppers, including one also paper labeled for "NYAL SULPHUR", an octagonal example, and a round fish bowl shaped covered peanut jar embossed "THE NUT HOUSE" with pictorial house, each jar with tooled mouth and internally ground neck, except Nut House and paper labeled Sulphur are machine-made. Various makers. Early to mid 20th century. 12 1/2" HOA.
Mostly very good condition with minor wear and flaking at upper edge of mouths and lower rims of stoppers, a large burst bubble to base edge of one jar; Nut House jar severely cracked along one side and with heavy chipping to cover.
