ASSORTED BRASS HURRICANE / SKATER'S LANTERNS, LOT OF TWO, each with a colorless globe, removable perforated cap with original chain and handles, comprising an example with a baluster-form globe and remaining example with a tapered globe and cap impressed "PAT'D DEC 24, 1867, each with a lightly stepped conical-form font, underside of patented example with an additional reissue patent stamp. Each with original burner, unmarked thumbwheels. Second half 19th century. 7 1/4" and 9 1/4" H to top of caps.

Excellent overall condition, each with expected wear, scattered light denting, globe rims with normal as-made roughness/minute flakes.
